The entire walk today to the Forest Camp is through the forest and is a very pleasant experience; however, it’s recommended to be careful as the trail is narrow, mostly on the forest ridge, covered with gnarled roots and sometimes gets slippery. During spring, the Rhododendron blooms, adding color to the otherwise green forest and giving trekkers the feeling of walking under a canopy. Most of the trail today goes up. The descents are very few in number. After about a 5 hour walk through the forest you will finally reach the Forest Camp, where you will check into the lodge.
