This trip takes you to Nagarjun – a nearest hill side of Kathmandu Valley covered with thick forest. Nagarjun Hike is suitable for adventure lovers who are interested in short hike. Nagarjun is a part of Shivapuri National Park situated in the north-west of Kathmandu. This place is perfect for meditation. Some of the attractions of Nagarjun are Buddha stupas, ancient caves and the Jamacho view point (2128m). The Jamcho view point provides spectacular view of Ganesh Himal, Mt. Manaslu, Langtang range, Dorje Lakpa, gauri Shankar and many more peaks. The view of Kathmandu valley, Swyambhu Buddha eyes, Nuwakot’s Buddhist shrines and monasteries can also be observed from the view point.

We will meet you at our office in the morning. After the introduction with guide, you will drive for half an hour to the bottom of the hill. You will walk through the forest to reach the top of Nagarjun hill that offers spectacular views of snow covered mountains and peaks such as Ganesh Himal, Mt. Manaslu, Langtang range, Dorje Lakpa, gauri Shankar and many more peaks. You will enjoy bird watching and entire Kathmandu valley view. Finally you will walk down to the highway and take a short ride to Kathmandu.
