The hike is approximately 7 to 10 kilometres(4.3 to 6.2 miles) round trip, starting from Pharping, a town located about 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of Kathmandu. It typically takes about 4 to 6 hours to complete the hike, including both ascent and descent. The hike generally ends at the Champa Devi Temple and for the return jounery you’ll retrace your steps back to Pharping. But this hike offers other alternative routes for return journey.
