Today, you will also get a chance to enjoy the very beautiful  view of Manaslu and Annapurna mountain range. You rill reach Danakyu by lunch time. Day 08: Trek from Lower Pisang to Manang (3,440m/11,286ft) 5 hours

Today, we trek from Lower Pisang to Manang.  After having breakfast, the climb though long, is fairly easy. We are gradually approaching the drier part of the Manang District. We will continue up the valley via Humde on a wide and dusty trail accompanied by Mani walls and the views of Pisang Peak and Annapurna III. A large Tibetan village with  a number of stupas and Gompas await our arrival at Manang. You can also enjoy magnificent views of Chulu peaks and Gangapurna, from Manang. In the evening, we enjoy the sunset view from Manang. Overnight in a lodge in Manang. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 09: Acclimatization day at Manang

Today, instead of heading further, we spend the day in Manang for the purpose of acclimatization. Being active is the best way to acclimatize. Therefore, we can either spend the day visiting a Milarepa’s cave or a half-day hiking to Khangsar or climbing Chhongar viewpoint or visiting ancient monasteries or simply exploring the settlement of Manang. Any option you choose will help you in the process of acclimatization, plus help you enjoy the attraction of Manang. Overnight in a lodge in Manang. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 10: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,050m/13,287ft) 4-5 hour

Today, we trek from Yak Kharka to the High Camp. The trail leading further to High Camp from Yak Kharka is wide, but steep up till Letdar.  From Letdar, we will continue , crossing the bridge across the Kone River, we walk past a scree slope and finally walk all the way up to the Thorung Phedi. Spending a night at the high camp makes the following day’s  ascension to Thorung La Pass easy. Therefore, instead of staying at Thorung Phedi, we hike all the way up to the High camp. The high camp greets us with a splendid panorama of  Annapurna peaks, Yakwakang and Chulu West. Overnight in a lodge in high camp.  (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 12: Trek from high camp to Muktinath (3,760m/12,335ft) via Thorung La Pass (5,416m) 8 hours

Today’s walk is the longest and the most difficult walk, during the entire trekking. Starting high camp, we walk all the way to Mukatinath, after climbing the Thorung La Pass. We start early in the morning and continue up on a steep trail. It takes about 4 hours to reach the pass. Once we are on the pass, you will be greeted with an awe inspiring view of summits rising above 6000m. You can also enjoy the very beautiful view of the Kali Gandaki Valley and Yakwakang. After enjoying the view, we will now hike down to the very famous shrine of Hindu and Buddhist- the Temple of Muktinath. The trail is easy in the beginning, steep in the between and easy again, before reaching Muktinath. While descending, the stunning view of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri will keep your eyes busy. By the time you reach Muktinath, you will be tired. So, we will spend the remaining time resting our tired muscles. Overnight in a lodge in Mukatinath.  (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

From Kaag Beni, following the old salt trade route, we will hike all the way down to Jomsom. In the evening, we spend our time exploring the Jomsom area. Overnight in a lodge in Jomsom.  (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 14: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara and to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
