How can I book the trip?
Booking with the Adventure Mountain Explore Treks and Expedition is easy. Follow the following steps to book your trip.
Step 1: Select the package.
Step 2: If the selected package meets all your needs and requirements, click How To Book tab that is on the top right corner of the website (if you are using a desktop or a laptop), or scroll down to the bottom to find the Booking section on the website (if you are using your cell phone or tab/iPad), and complete the further procedure to confirm your booking.
Send us an email at [email protected] or [email protected] requesting to book the package of your choice. All packages mentioned in the website are fully customizable, therefore, if none of the given packages meet your needs and requirements, you can send us an email mentioning your requirements and we will customize the package accordingly.
Step 3: Now deposit 20% of the total trip cost (50% in the case of Bhutan and Tibet trips) to confirm the booking.
Please Note: Booking deposit can either be made via Bank Transfer or Card (VISA or MasterCard)
Step 4: Please send a scan copy of the deposit slip, if you choose Bank Transfer as your payment option. If you choose to pay using the Card, download the payment form from our website, fill the required information and send it back to us.
Step 5: The Booking confirmation will be sent via email once the company receives the scan copy of the deposit slip (in the case of bank transfer) or as soon as the card is processed by the company (in the case of payment made via card).
What confirms my booking?
A booking confirmation email sent by the company after receiving the booking deposit confirms your booking.
How regularly do you run trips?
The frequency of the trip completely depends on the volume received by the company every year. Adventure Mountain Explore Treks and Expedition, however, has the expertise, manpower, experience, congenial relation with service providers and the dedication required to run trips on a daily basis and throughout the year.
I have a big group. Is your company big enough to handle big groups?
No group is too big or too small for us. With more than 7 years in business, Adventure Mountain Explore Treks and Expedition is fully equipped with the best team, technique, manpower and service providers required to serve the needs and requirements of large groups. Can I change the accommodation options?
In order to guarantee the value for your money,
Adventure Mountain Explore Treks and Expedition ensures to provide the best accommodations by booking the best available tourist standard hotels in cities and the best lodges, tea houses, guest houses and Homestays, during the trip. Having said this, the company also provides the option to fully customize the packages, which definitely includes the option of changing the accommodation. If you are looking for a more luxurious accommodation, extra charges will be applicable.
What happens if another member of the group cancels the trip?
Even if another member of the group cancels the trip, once the booking confirmation is sent by the company, the departure is 100% guaranteed.
How much do I have to pay, in order to confirm the booking?
You have to pay 20% of the total trip cost (for all trips in Nepal), in order to confirm the booking. However, if you are looking to book any of the Bhutan or Tibet trips, then you need to make the deposit of 50% of the total trip cost, to confirm the booking.
Is booking deposit necessary?
Yes, the booking deposit is necessary. The amount paid as the booking deposit by the customer will be used to book and confirm the services like accommodation, flight tickets, ground transportation and permits that you will be needing during the trip.
How can I pay the rest of the amount?
The remaining amount should be paid in cash, upon your arrival in Kathmandu and before the trip departure day.
Will the booking deposit be refunded, if I am not able to do this trek?
No, the booking deposit is non-refundable, but is definitely reusable for the next season of the same year. This means, if you are unable to do this trek for any reason, the booking deposit already paid to the company can be used to book another trip for the next season of the same year.
Will I get my money back, if I am unable to complete this trek?
After the trip has begun, if you voluntarily leaves the trip for any reason, the company will not refund the amount already charged by the company. However, if the customer is forced to leave the trip for any reason, the refunds will be at the discretion of the company. The company will also not return the money charged for accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, meals or any other services that are not utilized by the customer.
What is the perfect group size?
Usually, a group of 2-10 people is considered as the perfect group size. However, AME Treks and Expedition can also perfectly organize trips for groups with more than 10 members in a group.
How early should I plan my trip?
Adventure Mountain Explore Treks and Expedition can help you plan a perfect last hour trip, we recommend you to plan as early as possible. Planning early gives the company enough time book the best service providers (hotels, transportations, eatery and other services) and help you enjoy the best and hassle-free services and trip.
Do I need to provide any physical/medical certificate to the company?
No, you do not need to provide any physical or medical certificate to the company.
Is there any age restriction?
No, there is no any age restriction. All you need is a fit and healthy body, excellent stamina and strong determination to complete the trek.
What preparations are required before the trekking?
If you are looking for a successful trekking, we recommend you to prepare your body for the trek by doing following things;
Is tipping mandatory?
Tipping in Nepal is only a sign of gratitude and satisfaction. Thus, it is not mandatory. However, customers normally provide tips to the service providers like guides, porters, drivers, waiters/waitresses, etc. The amount depends upon the wish of the customer.
What happens in the case of bad weather?
If the weather is extremely unfavorable for the trip, then we will wait until the weather becomes favorable. Normally, bad weather directly affects the flight schedules. In a place where we can reach using ground transportation, we will arrange the ground transportation to start your trek on time. However, at places, where flight is the only transportation option, we will wait for the right weather and board the earliest possible flight, after the weather becomes supportive.
What currencies do you accept?
Although, our preference is USD, we accept all major currencies. However, the value of your currency should be equivalent to the value of the same day’s USD the day you make the payment to the company.
What is the exchange rate?
The exchange rates in Nepal are in constant fluctuation. Therefore, customers are requested to follow the rate fixed by the Nepal Rasta Bank, while exchanging their currency in Nepal.
Do the guides speak English language?
Yes, all our guides understand and speak the English language. Moreover, they are also licensed, experienced, knowledgeable and experienced to provide professional service.
How much can a porter carry?
30 kgs is the maximum weight a porter is allowed and can carry in Nepal. 1 porter is assigned to carry the luggage of 2 trekkers, therefore, pack as lightly as possible.
How much luggage does a domestic flight allow?
15 kg/per passenger is the maximum luggage weight that is allowed by the domestic flights in Nepal.
Do hotels in Kathmandu provide locker facility to store my extra personal belongings?
Yes, all the hotels we book for you in Kathmandu provide locker to store all your extra personal belongings (extra charges applicable).

We will then conduct a meeting to introduce your guide and brief you regarding the trip. After the meeting we will take you for a welcome dinner. The objective of this dinner is to introduce you to the typical Nepali cuisine, music and dance. Before heading to the destination, we will help you finalize the trip equipments.
