To help you with the post trek hangover, we have designed an extended one day tour to the beautiful hillside Nagarkot which is reached after one and half hour drive from Kathmandu. It is located at an altitude of 2164 m, 32 km east from Kathmandu. Nagarkot is popular for the viewpoint of sunrise and sunset along with the panoramic 360 degree view of Dhaulagiri in the west, Mount Everest and Kanchanjanga in the east, 7406m Ganesh Himal, 7246m Langtang Lirung, 8012m Shisha Pangma, 6975m Dorje Lakpa, 7146m Gauri Shankhar and many more. The green hill forest of Nagarkot makes it a perfect place for picnic. A beautiful Kathmandu valley view is also one of the many attractions of Nagarkot.

We will meet you in our Office premises in the morning, and introduce you to the guide. We will then take a drive towards Nagarkot in a private vehicle. After one and half hours scenic drive we will reach Nagarkot. If you want to have a sunrise view, we will start our tour around 4 am in the morning. Rest of the day we will explore the village. On the way back to Kathmandu we will pass a beautiful Bhaktapur city. This will be the end of your wonderful one day tour to Nagarkot.
