Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing tour After breakfast, your tour begins with a pick-up around 9:30-10:00AM. You’ll visit four UNESCO World Heritage Sites, each offering a glimpse into Nepal’s rich heritage. You will start the tour by driving to Swyambhunath, an ancient stupa with panoramic views of Kathmandu. The site blends Hindu and Buddhist traditions, featuring the iconic Buddha eyes and playful monkeys. Spend around 30-45 minutes here, before heading to your next stop, Kathmandu Durbar Square. Next, you will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, the heart of the city, where you’ll find historic temples, shrines, and royal palaces. Here, you will also visit the Kumari Ghar (home of the living goddess) and the Hanuman Dhoka Palace. You will spend around 1.5 to 2 hours exploring this urban quarter of narrow alleys, bustling markets and countless temples and shrines, after which you will move to the next site, Boudhanath Stupa. Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world, where a proud Tibetan community thrives in the shadow of the great stupa. The peaceful atmosphere and colorful Tibetan shops make it a great place to immerse in local culture. Therefore, you will spend around 1-1.5 hours exploring the site - circumambulating the stupa, spinning prayer wheels, burning butter lamps and visiting the surrounding monastery and thanks museums. You will also have your lunch here, before heading on to the next site, Pashupatinath. You will conclude the day’s sightseeing tour with a visit to Pashupatinath, one of Hinduism’s holiest sites. Though non-Hindus can’t enter the main temple, you can observe the ghats and surrounding shrines. Explore the sacred area and witness ancient rituals. You will spend around one hour exploring this site. After the tour, return to your hotel to relax. Overnight in a hotel in Kathmandu. Meals: Breakfast
Day 03: Drive to Chitwan Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan. You’ll be picked up from your hotel at 6:30AM and transferred to the tourist bus station in Sorhakhutte. The luxury tourist bus departs at 7:00 AM, and the journey typically takes around 6 hours, depending on road conditions and traffic. Leaving the bustling Kathmandu valley behind, the rote winds through the lush, subtropical plains of Nepal’s Terai region. The 150-170 km drive follows the Prithvi Highway, passing through small villages, towns like Naubise, Malekhu and Mugling and scenic landscapes with river gorges, waterfalls, terraced hillsides and forests along the Trisuli River. At Mugling, the highway splits, and you’ll switch to the Madan Ashrit Highway before joining the Mahendra Highway, eventually reaching Chitwan. As you approach, the terrain flattens, and the air grows warmer and more humid, surrounded by rice fields and banana plantations. Along the way the bus will make stops at highway restaurants for snacks, as well as a few breaks for restrooms. Upon arrival in Chitwan, a hotel representative will greet you at the bus station and transfer you to your hotel. After checking in and meeting with your nature guide, you’ll enjoy a traditional lunch. In the afternoon, take a village walk around the national park area, where you will experience local life in a Tharu village. The walk ends at a scenic sunset viewpoint, offering stunning views of the sun setting over the plains. Afterward, enjoy dinner at the hotel, followed by a traditional Tharu cultural show. Overnight in a hotel in Chitwan. Please note: Private transportation and domestic flights can be arranged for an additional cost. Meals: Breakfast in Kathmandu and Lunch and Dinner in Chitwan

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel, then head out for either an elephant or jeep safari, depending on your preference. The elephant safari offers a more intimate experience, but covers a smaller area of the park. If you want to venture deeper into the jungle, the jeep safari is a better option. After your safari, return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a peaceful canoe ride in a dugout wooden boat to explore the park’s aquatic life. Glide along the river, spotting wildlife such as mugger and gharial crocodiles, rhinos, deer, monkeys and a variety of birds like kingfishers, egrets, strokes, hornbill and cormorants. The riverbank, grasslands and occasional sandbars provide a beautiful backdrop for this serene safari. After the canoe ride, enjoy a walking safari through the jungle to get a closer, ground-level perspective of the park’s landscape and wildlife. To end the day, visit either the elephant or crocodile breeding center, where you’ll learn about the park’s conservation efforts. Afterward, you will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinne
