The Kathmandu & Pokhara Valley sightseeing tour is designed for those who are planning a short stay here in Nepal and want to explore the Hindu and Buddhist religious sites. In this trip, we have included main attractions of Kathmandu and Pokhara.
Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal and is divided into three sub cities; Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. It is popular for its diverse culture with a mix of Buddhist and Hindu religion. It celebrates different traditional festivals. Kathmandu contains different historical temples and some of the UNESCO world Heritage sites like the Pashupatinath temple, Swyambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Temple, Kathmandu durbar square and Patan durbar square. The Lake city of Pokhara is located in the west of Kathmandu valley and is blessed with natural beauties like lakes, mountains and caves. The gateway to Annapurna Region, pokhara has the three major lakes; Fewa, Rupa and Begnas. The exclusive natural beauties of Pokhara make it a place of ultimate relaxation. Nagarkot is also included in this tour. Nagarkot is located in the hills of Kathmandu valley. The sunrise and sunset view from Nagarkot are excessively beautiful that it remains in the traveler’s heart forever. The main attractions of this tour are the UNESCO world heritage sites such as the temple of Pashupatinath, Swyambhunath, Boudhanath, the Kathmandu Durbar Square, the Patan Durbar Square and the Chitwan National Park.

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival, our representative will receive you in Tribhuvan International Airport. You will be transferred to the Hotel. That evening you will visit our office to meet your guide and to plan your trip. We will take you for a dinner to one of the popular local restaurant with delicious Nepali food, cultural music and ethnic dance. However if you arrive late, we can plan it the next day.
Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour
After the breakfast, your guide will receive you in the hotel and take you to the Kathmandu city tour for exploring the traditional monuments and cultural heritages. You will be mesmerized by the famous world heritage sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, famous Hindu pilgrimage Pashupati Nath temple, Swoyambhu Nath Temple (Monkey Temple), world famous Buddhist monument Boudha Nath, ancient Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square. You will further discover traditional Nepali life styles, origin and existence of ancient royal palaces, centuries old monuments, Shrines, Statues etc. You will meet us again after finishing the tour for discussing further about the trip. You will spend that night in the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara
After having breakfast you will have a seven hours drive towards Pokhara. This is very interesting drive along the riverside with beautiful Himalayan scenery. After reaching Pokhara you will check into the hotel and rest for some time. In the evening you will stroll around the beautiful lakeside.
Day 04: Sunrise at Sarangkot and City tour
You will wake up early in the morning and take a drive to Sarangkot for Panoramic view of sunrise and Annapurna range. After the view you will drive down to the hotel in Pokhara for breakfast and start the Pokhara city tour. The tour includes stunning water fall, Gupteswor cave, Fewa Lake, Bindabasani Temple, Seti river gorge and Museum. You will be amazed with the excellent view of Annapurna Himalaya. You will have an hour boating trip around the Fewa Lake. You will get a chance to take photos then. One of the views that will remain in your heart is the reflection of Fistail Mountain in the fewa lakes surface. You will stay that night at the hotel.
Day 05: Drive to Kathmandu
After having breakfast you will drive towards Kathmandu through Prithivi highway exploring the beautiful Himalayan scenery. You will reach Kathmandu in around 7 hours. You will stay that night in the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 06: Sunrise at Nagarkot and Excursion of Bhaktapur Durbar square
You will drive to Nagarkot in the early morning for the sunrise view. Nagarkot is popular for the view point from where you can enjoy 360 degree views of mountains and Kathmandu valley. After exploring Nagarkot you will drive towards Kathmandu and on the way you will stop at Bhaktapur for exploring traditional style of architecture, 55 windows palace, Nayatpola Temple, Durbar Square and many more. You will then drive back to Kathmandu and stay that night in the hotel.
Day 07: Departure day from Kathmandu
This day is the last day of your trip. If you would like to extend your stay we will assist you otherwise we will help you transfer to International the Tribhuvan Airport as per your flight departure time.
