Responsible Tourism

We (AME Treks) strongly believe in responsible tourism and our policies are guided by the principles for Economic Responsibility, Social Responsibility, and Environmental Responsibility. We want to promote sustainable tourism in our country for sustainable development. We offer environmentally friendly trips in Nepal and we encourage our customers to be environmental stewards to ensure the preservation of our pristine environment. We wish to not only preserve our ecosystems, but also our culture. We debrief our customers on local customs to foster a better understanding of Nepal. We want to help the parts of our community who are falling behind, so we are continuously developing new potential areas for sustainable cultural and eco-friendly trips. We give you the option of making a small donation to the Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP) when booking your trip.
 

Due to lack of knowledge and peoples negligence about environment, the whole Himalayan environment has been endangered, and as a consequence environmental ecosystem of the world has suffered. All our staffs have all been given environmental training and are all very sensitive to the delicate eco-systems we enter. We prefer to use renewable source of energy. We are fully dedicated to save global environment, preserve the natural beauty of our country and importantly to make your journeys in Nepal very colorful and everlasting beautiful memories in your life.
