New trekking routes identified in Rasuwa

More than a dozen new trekking routes have been identified to enchant tourists in the rural areas of Rasuwa district.

The new destinations recently decided by the Rural Tourism And Sustainable Environment Conservation Centre Gatlang are Betrawati, Shantibajaar, Dandagaun, Thulo Gaun, Farumrang, Syauchet, Haku, Gatlang, Jyarsa, Khurpu Bhanjyang, Syauchet, Paikotang, lead and zinc mine, Paldor Base Camp, Jageswor Kunda and Sanjenmeli and Tatopani, Nagathali.

According to chairman of the Centre Bikas Lama, preparations are completed to screen a documentary at Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu on August 20 about the places shot with the help of Rasuwa Nuwakot Tourism Society and urged all to participate in identifying new destinations.

The concerned bodies will send tourists to the new destinations, hoped Gatlang VDC Assistant Secretary Chhowang Dorje Tamang.
