If you visited Nepal and you didn't Trek, then you missed the major part of your travel. After all Nepal is one of the famous Trekking destinations in the world. As Trekking demands high level of physical fitness, it might not be possible for everyone to Trek the popular Trekking routes such as Annapurna Base Camp Trek or Everest Base Camp Trek. Therefore a mini trek to Panchase is suitable for those who are not Trekking fanatic but still want to experience small slice of Trekking, just because they don't want to miss anything about Nepal.
This short Trek to Panchase offers something to everybody regardless the age or fitness abilities. The starting point of this Trek is 15KM west of Pokhara, a place named Kande from where the Trekking begins. As you go upward, the Local people will warmly welcome you.
There is a place named Deurali, from where a sunrise view is possible. You will be amazed to see how sun kisses the tip of Fishtail Mountain. You will witness the subtropical valleys of banana trees, and rice paddies field covered by Rhododendron forest on the way. Because of the tropical trees and Orchids, this Trek will be interesting for those who love bird watching. Once you will reach the top, you will feel high on life.
Therefore, if you are planning to visit Nepal and you don't have much time but you still want to experience Trekking, then a Trek to Panchase is perfect for you. As this Trek is of short duration, we have termed this Trek a short and sweet Trek.
Day 01: Arrival day (1,300m/4,264 ft)

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m/2,690ft) 6-7 hours
Day 04: Drive to Thado Khola and trek to Bhumdi (1600m) 4-5 hrs walks
Day 05: Trek to Panchase Bhanjyang (2000m) 4-5 hrs walks
Day 06: Trek to Bhadaure (1700m) 5-6 hrs walks

Day 10: Departure day
Day 01: Arrival day (1,300m/4,264 ft)
Upon arrival at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport, we will greet you and assist you with transportation to the hotel. We will meet either later on that day or the next day to take you to our head office, where we will brief you on your upcoming trek with us. At that time, we will introduce you to your trekking guide and Sherpa. If your flight arrives on time, we will take you to one of the most popular local restaurants with delicious Nepalese food, cultural music and ethnic dance. This will give you a glimpse into the different ethnic groups of the country. If you arrive late in the evening, we can do this the next day instead.
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing and trek preparation (1,300m/4,264 ft)
After breakfast, you will begin a city tour of Kathmandu where you will see the main attractions of the valley. On this tour you will visit the Boudhnath Stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Swyambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square (the old palace). After finishing the city tour, we will meet again to check your clothing and trekking equipment (sleeping bag, jacket and trekking boots). This evening will be spent in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m/2,690ft) 6-7 hours
After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Pokhara by tourist bus, which departs at 7:00am in morning. This is an excellent drive through the Prithivi Highway, which features interesting views of the mountains, rivers, waterfalls and jungles, as well as farm terraces and villages situated on the mountains. The bus has two stops, once for breakfast and once for lunch. After a 7 hour drive you will reach Pokhara. After some time resting at the hotel, you can take a walk around the lake side of the city to explore the surrounding areas. We will stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Drive to Thado Khola and trek to Bhumdi (1600m) 4-5 hrs walks
After breakfast at Pokhara Hotel there is short ride to Thado Khola by private vehicle and the trail ascends to Bhumdi Gaun which is popular Gurung village. The trail leads through the paddy farm and short forest walk to Bhumdi. Once you get there, short walk around Bhumdi village to explore their way of life. Overnight at the tea house.
Day 05: Trek to Panchase Bhanjyang (2000m) 4-5 hrs walks
Today the trail leads few up and down through the forest of Rhodondern and pine as well as small bushes to Panchase Bhanjyang which has breath taking views of the Annapurnas one hand and other hand; the beautiful view of Pokhara. Basically at night time the city lights give you a perfect reflection. Overnight at the tea house.
Day 06: Trek to Bhadaure (1700m) 5-6 hrs walks
After breakfast at the tea house, the trail leads up to the hill ridge and down to the Bhadaure. While you climb up to 2500m at Panchase danda, you will enjoy the beautiful views of the Himalayas As you have a nice stay at Panchase Bhanjyang today after your good hilly breakfast your trek will start towards the Panchase height (2500m) through a jungle from where you can have a beautiful view of Kusma and Pokhara valley with the views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range very nearer. Afterward you have to descend down through beautiful fields and jungles to reach Bhadaure. Overnight stay at Bhadure.
Day 07: Trek to Dhampus (1080m) 5-6 hrs walks
With the pleasant stay at Bhadure, today also after breakfast the trek will lead you towards Naudanda and kade through the nice villages and beautiful forest. Then, you will trek to Australian Camp where earlier Australian has dome camping. This is also considering as a best view point for the mountains. Then, you will follow the route towards Dhampus. Overnight stay at tea houses.
Day 08: Trek to Phedi (2-3 hrs walk )and Drive to Pokhara (30m)
After breakfast in Dhampus trek down through the massive landscapes and villages. Today you will just go down. The trail is mostly uphill through the nice view of the Pokhara Valley, cross the light forest and several local villages. After you reach to Phedi, drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, 7-8 hrs drive (1,300m/4,264 ft) 6-7 hours
At 7 am, we'll drive to Kathmandu through the Prithivi highway, which is the same route we first took to Pokhara from Kathmandu. It is an interesting driving route where one can enjoy passing scenes of natural beauty. In the afternoon, we'll arrive in Kathmandu where will host a farewell dinner at a Nepalese restaurant. We will stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Departure day
Today is the last day of your trip with us. If you would like to extend your holiday with us, we would be more than happy to help you plan further adventures. Otherwise, we will take you to the airport in time for your flight departure. If your flight is in late evening, you can spend time shopping or managing your photos from the trip before your final departure from the airport.
