Every year, in accordance with the Buddhist lunar calendar, the Mani Rimdu festival is celebrated in the Everest region. It is a 9-day festival where the ceremonies and the meditation will be held in which you can take part.
The Tengboche Monastery in the Everest region serves as the prime location for trekkers to explore this festival and join the celebration. Many people from the regions like Khumbu and Solukhumbu come to this place to celebrate this festival. Basically, the main purpose of the celebration is the victory of good over evil and the demons. We are sure that you will find this festival to be incredibly colorful and exciting, as it features unique events like masked dances, tantric magic, and fire performances that are dedicated to the Buddhist gods.
